About

The person reading your lease

I spent years on the corporate side of QSR leasing — managing more than 500 concurrent lease matters across North America and tens of millions of dollars in active exposure for a global franchise at any given time. I negotiated with landlords and opposing counsel, worked closely with Franchisees, maintained landlord relations, worked through Marine Corps legal services, and spent years as a corporate paralegal across 29 states.

What I kept seeing was operators signing leases they didn't fully understand — not because they weren't smart, but because no one had translated the lease into what it would actually mean for the business.

LedgeBite exists to close that gap. I read your lease the way it will actually play out — the late opening, the dead HVAC unit, the day you want to sell the store — and tell you what to push for before you sign.

How I Work

I work alongside your team, not instead of them.

LedgeBite is not a law firm and I am not an attorney. I provide business and operational guidance — what the lease will mean for how you open, operate, and exit. Legal advice and final lease drafting are handled by your attorney.

Your broker negotiates the business terms. Your attorney handles the legal advice. I give you the analysis that makes both of those conversations more effective — so you go into the deal knowing what to push for and why.

Your documents are used only for your review. I don't share, retain, or reference client documents outside of the engagement.
